All nutrient values supplied in the CNF database are based on a 100g sample. The conversion factor is the factor by which you would multiply the nutrient value per 100g to obtain the nutrient amount per the measure described. For example; if you choose a measure of say,1 slice, the CNF file has already determined the weight of 1 slice of that particular food and provides a conversion factor to relate the weight of 1 slice to the base reference weight of 100g. When you click on one of the measures above to display the nutrient analysis the conversion factor is automatically applied so the displayed nutrient values relate to the selected measure.

NB There are a few foods in the CNF that have no measures available in the database and hence no data will be available above!
